Looks like people take advantage of this place and drink and add candles and leave s**t around, glad I did it though. We layed there for 15 min max until we said alright let’s get out of here.
It was scorching hot, I’m one to take hot showers but this was just too hot. We filled our tubs with maybe 3 buckets of water plus you have hot springs coming in. The water from previous visitors has to be thrown out, otherwise your sitting in their soup of sweaty water (.
BAGBY HOT SPRINGS FULL
The tubs were full when we got there and made 10 -15 min till our stall opened up. The hot water mist blends in with the cold weather and it’s makes a huge fog appearance. Finally upon arriving to the springs you can see that reached the destination. I had to rub my shoes on dirt after I got out, so then came the walk to the springs - that was beautiful the sun peeping through the trees, there’s this bridge that crosses over the rapid river it’s amazing to see the vast waters roaring. The drive was long kept - ” thinking we must’ve passed it “ finally we got to our destination and we saw the parking, a bit small maybe 20 cars occupancy, quick bathroom break and it was just so bad. My husband and I decided to head to Portland for the weekend in Feb and Bagby was on our list but never said we would make the trip officially And we were in two groups for the most part. It was a total of seven of us late 20s to early 30s fyi. The crowd does get a bit rowdy at night, as more of the prohibited items come out, so just don't bring your kids. We went in late February 2015 and arrived around 2pm. There are 5 private stalls in the main area, and 4 tubs in the main area too. The location has picnic tables and 1 large hot tub, always a wait, private and clothing optional. Or just bathe in other peoples excrement.your choice. Other note, they have scrubs you can use to clean the tub. Also water is very hot, so you will need a couple of buckets of cold water to balance out. Otherwise you will be waiting forever to get your water. My advice is to get a tub as close to the hot spring. We didn't do a private tub, and got lucky to get a spot after about an hour of meandering about the area. Since it was sunny and a chilly day, around 45 to 50 degrees, it was pretty packed. I was ready to soak my achy muscles in some hot springs.

The drive from Portland was about 1.5 hours, we took some back roads and followed very shady signs. I cant really explain how we arrived since we had no reception about an hour outside of Portland.
